Ludwig Mies van der Rohe : Barcelona Pavillonen var Den tyske pavillon på Verdensudstillingen i Barcelona i 1929 (Expo 1929). Pavillonen blev revet ned da Verdensudstillingen sluttede, men blev genopført i forbindelse med Sommer-OL i Barcelona i 1992. Pavillonen er en af de væsentligste bygninger i 1900-tallets modernistiske arkitektur. Den er blevet studeret og tolket og har inspireret generationer af arkitekter. Bygningens materialer er glas, stål, romersk travertin (kalksten) og marmor poleret til højglans. Barcelonastolen er designet til pavillonen, den kaldes også Pavillonstolen. Bronzeskulpturen "Alba" (ital: daggry) er en reproduktion af originalen, der blev udført af den tyske billedhugger Georg Kolbe (1877-1947). Skulpturen er placeret i pavillonens gårdbassin. Under vandspejlet i gårdbassinet er marmorfliser og under terrassebassinets vandspejl er strandsten.

Parc de l'Espanya Industrial er tegnet af arkitekten Luis Peña Ganchegui (1926-2009). Parken åbnede i 1985. Den ligger, hvor der tidligere lå en stofmølle.
